Stargate Gardens grows roughly eight or nine varieties, including shiitake, lion’s mane, blue oyster, king trumpet, pink oyster, black pearl and pioppino. The family and their mushrooms make their way to farmers’ markets weekly throughout Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Venice, Mar Vista, Pico, Westlake and other local markets.
