I don’t know about y’all, but I’m excited as I can be about this upcoming election. Not because I’m foolish enough to believe elections magically fix everything, but because this moment gives us, as Black people, a chance to look at ourselves — who we are, where we are, and where we’re trying to go. Every few years, this country hands us a mirror.
