In 2020, while the world was shut down during the height of COVID-19, boredom sparked a new beginning forThe Bomb Treatsfounder,JeQuay Adams. “I was bored and tired of looking at the walls,” she recalls. “My love for creating and art turned into making treats, and it quickly became my business.”
What started to fill time during lockdown soon became an outlet for creativity, joy, and connection. Guided by the belief that “food is love and celebration,” JeQuay brings that same spirit to every dessert she creates, blending artistry and flavor to make every occasion a little sweeter.

She also hopes to create opportunities for others through internships for youth interested in culinary arts and hands-on workshops where community members can experience the joy of treat-making.
