West Baltimore will come alive with creativity, conversation, and community asSoulful Saturdays: Love & Connection Editiontakes overThe Mill on Northon Saturday, January 17. The immersive evening is a collaboration betweenShaping Freedom®andArt Soirée, bringing together music, interactive experiences, and art-forward energy in one of the city’s newest community hubs.
Designed for singles, couples, and friends, Soulful Saturdays invites guests to step into a playful and intentional space centered on connection. Throughout the evening, attendees will move through guided conversation stations, interactive vignettes, and social experiments inspired by Shaping Freedom’s signature Soulful Saturday experiences and Art Soirée’s culturally rooted gatherings. Music will be provided by DJ Tanz, while food and drinks will be available from The Mill on North’s lineup of Black-owned vendors.

The collective has received a mayor’s proclamation recognizing its impact on the city’s arts community.

Located along the West North Avenue corridor, The Mill on North is West Baltimore’s first food hall and a growing destination for local dining, arts, and neighborhood-centered events. Hosting Soulful Saturdays reflects the venue’s role as both an economic anchor and a cultural gathering place for the community.
