It’s Time to Create Income Outside of Your Job—And I’ll Show You How

15h

The government is laying off workers. Corporations are downsizing. Artificial intelligence is replacing jobs faster than anyone expected.

I know exactly how it feels to lose a “secure” position. It happened to me—twice. I was a top performer, closing million-dollar deals, yet I still got blindsided and laid off.

I’ll never forget the day I drove to my daughters’ private school to pick them up after getting the news. They were only five and three. I came home to my custom-built dream house and had to tell my wife I no longer had my six-figure job. Her expression said it all—shock, fear, and uncertainty. The sleepless nights that followed still stick with me.

The layoff came without warning. The day before, I had closed a million-dollar contract. I expected a celebration—balloons, congratulations, high-fives. Instead, I walked into a conference room and heard the words,“We’re sorry, but we have to let you go.”I was stunned. They handed me an inch-thick stack of legal papers and told me to sign for my “generous” two-week severance. Luckily, my attorney caught how terrible the agreement was and negotiated better terms.

That day changed my life. I made a promise to myself: never again would my family’s financial future depend on a job someone else could take away.

That was twenty years ago. Back then, we were taught to chase “good government jobs.” Today, even those are disappearing. What seemed like security is now instability.

My layoffs became a blessing in disguise. They forced me to create income streams outside of a job. Eventually, those side incomes grew so strong that I quit my $100,000-a-year job—on my own terms—and never looked back.

I even recorded an audiobook titledHow I Quit My $100,000-A-Year Job, documenting the journey. I realized I needed a skill no one could take away, something independent of any employer. That’s when I learned to trade and invest in the stock market—on the advice of a close friend.

The stock market is where wealth is built. I dove in, studied intensely, and mastered it. Over time, I discovered I had a gift for making complex concepts simple. I began teaching family and friends, and soon the demand grew beyond what I could handle alone.

That’s when I launchedFLipThatStock.comandShopForStocksOnline.com—platforms designed to help people, especially African Americans, learn toactivelyparticipate in the stock market and build wealth.

One day, while shopping on Amazon, I thought:If buying products online is this easy, why can’t buying stocks be the same?

That idea sparkedShop For Stocks Online, an innovative platform that mimics online shopping. Instead of adding shoes or gadgets to your cart, you’re buying ownership in real companies. It’s a fun, simple way to learn how to invest—perfect for beginners who’ve always thought stock investing was too complicated or only for the wealthy.

Since launching, the response has been phenomenal. People are excited, confident, and finally taking control of their financial futures.

But I didn’t stop there. Knowing how uncertain today’s job market is, I wanted to help people generateongoingincome, too. So I built aresidual income referral programinside Shop For Stocks Online.

Instead of spending thousands on ads, I pay our members every month for referring new members. Think about it—you recommend restaurants, movies, and concerts all the time and never get paid. Now, you can recommend something that actually helps people build wealthandearn income every month.

By combining powerful stock-market education with recurring income opportunities, I’m helping everyday people move from financial stress to financial freedom. This isn’t just a business—it’s a movement.

Now, that movement is going nationwide withThe Freedom Express Tour—a live event series designed to teach people exactly how to create income streams outside of their jobs.

The tour kicks off in theWashington, D.C. Metro Area on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
