Deadline reported that Working Title Television acquired the rights to Stacey Abrams’ new novel While Justice Sleeps. Abrams will executive produce the TV series along with Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. Abrams is a known voting rights advocate who is gaining increased traction in the literary and television world. Deadline also reported that the NBC Universal-backed producer won the rights in a competitive battle and will adapt it as a television series.
