Baltimore, MD– As Charm City continues to make an effort towards creating a more eco-friendly environment, the Baltimore Ravens follow behind, making contributions. In celebration of Earth day, the NFL team held TheGamePlan initiative, partnering with M&T Bank and Waterfront Partnership for an impactful volunteer event.
The group participated in a series of eco-friendly, hands-on activities aimed at creating a cleaner Inner Harbor and supporting their Healthy Harbor Initiative. The day brought together approximately 70 volunteers from across five organizations, including Point Field Partners and the Bisciotti Family Foundation as well.

Volunteers spent the morning engaging in oyster gardening, habitat improvement and environmental data collection– all primary maintenance routines that keep Baltimore’s ecosystem thriving. Waterfront Partnership puts work into protecting the Harbor, removing one million pounds of trash and growing one million oysters every year.
